Job Title: Finance/PayrollBasic FunctionTo compile, compute and record financial affairs to include financial reporting, tax compliance, cost accounting and payroll
ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain all corporate financial records including books of original entry, supporting schedules and subsidiary ledgers.- Collect and assist in analyzing financial data to provide management with internal reports.
- Support all levels of the corporation in budget preparation through training and by providing relevant information when appropriate.
- Provide special reporting and analysis of financial information to management.
- Prepare payroll on a weekly basis by compiling, verifying and calculating hours, and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and mail financial and tax reports and payments as required to comply with external reporting requirements.
- Prepare and mail mandatory checks for 401K, Safe Harbour, loans and garnished deductions to the appropriate party as needed.
- Maintain and update new and terminated employee data as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
