Job Title: Home Energy Assessor

Summary: 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

• Performs physical activity to install company products according to procedure such as bending, stooping, reaching, climbing into small areas, and other such activity.*
• Interview homeowner to find out their concerns
• Check appliances for age and efficiency
• Check ambient air
• Check for gas leaks from meter to all appliances
• Check Base pressure
• Check worst case pressure
• Turn on all exhaust fans
• Check Furnace and Water Heater combustion
• Test for spillage
• Check draft
• Take inventory of Windows and Doors
• how many and what sizes
• Inspection of the attic
• Check insulation
• Check to see all fans are vented to the outside
• Blower Door Test
• Checks leak rate of structure against industry standard
• Duct Blasting
• Check for Duct leakage
• Measure footprint of the house and take pictures
• Input information into TREAT file in computer
